Hello and welcome to my very first blog. I guess a good way to start would be to introduce myself. I am Raffaella and I own The Mugger with my husband Mark. I was born and raised in Italy but traveled quite a bit to follow my big passion, dance, and made a good career out of it. When I met Mark, we decided to move back to San Diego where I started to work at The Mugger. Not only I fell in love with the products but also with the business side of things. I had the chance to purchase the store and I have been riding the wave since 2006. I know it is hard work, but I love to browse to find new products, to interact with customers, and be able to work in a beautiful place like Seaport Village, right on the bay. This blog is a new chapter for me and I am looking forward to explore, learn, and share thoughts, news, fun facts, and keep this alive. I admit it is a little scary too but everything has a learning curve right? Here is to a long and fun relationship and as we say in Italian: SALUTE and AUGURI!
